On October 24-25 from 9h00 to 18h00, the Community of people seeking open and interoperable Augmented Reality will conduct its Fourth Face-to-Face in Basel on the campus of the Business School of FHNW (Peter Merian-Strasse 86), co-located with ISMAR2011.

The AR Standards Community is an ad hoc group of people working together to reduce barriers and establish open and interoperable AR protocols.
All those who are currently working towards open Augmented Reality interfaces via standards bodies are invited to present the status of their activities and participate in this active global community. Standards Development Organizations should describe their working group status and proposed standards for feedback. Additionally, companies and individuals who are interested or wish to contribute their projects to the advancement of AR standards are welcome.

The portal for the community is http://arstandards.org
